PE and Sport Premium
The PE and Sport Premium is additional government funding provided to primary schools to improve the quality of physical education, sport and physical activity for all pupils. The funding is intended to create sustainable improvements by increasing participation, developing staff expertise, broadening sporting opportunities and promoting healthy, active lifestyles.
At Bisley Blue Coat C of E Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every child benefits from high-quality PE and sport. Through our vision of Love, Learn, Live as One, we encourage all pupils to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity. We believe that sport plays a vital role in supporting children's physical health, emotional wellbeing and personal development.
As schools are aware, the PE and Sport Premium funding programme is due to come to an end during the academic year 2026-27. While the funding may be changing, our commitment to providing enriching sporting opportunities and promoting healthy, active lifestyles remains unchanged.
The documents below provide information on how Bisley Blue Coat has allocated and spent its PE and Sport Premium funding. They demonstrate the impact of the funding on pupil participation, staff development, sporting opportunities and outcomes, whilst ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
We remain committed to building on the legacy of this funding, ensuring that all children continue to benefit from a rich and varied programme of physical education, sport and outdoor learning.
