Chairty Fundraising and Community Links

At Bisley Blue Coat C of E Primary School, building strong links with our local, national and international communities is an important expression of our Christian vision “Love, Learn, Live as One.” Rooted in the values of Community, Love, Respect and Trust, we strive to help our pupils understand their place in the wider world and recognise their responsibility to contribute positively to it.

We provide children with opportunities to meet and learn from positive role models through visits, collective worship, community events and special experiences that broaden their horizons. These encounters help pupils appreciate the work of others, develop empathy and grow as active, responsible citizens who live out our Christian vision in practical and meaningful ways.

As a Church of England school, we are deeply committed to showing love in action. We recognise our responsibility to support those who are less fortunate, and we use many of our school events as opportunities to raise funds for charities that make a difference locally, nationally and beyond. This charitable work not only strengthens our sense of community but also reflects our calling to follow Jesus’ example of compassion, generosity and service.

Detailed below are the various charities we have supported through fundraising over the past 12 months, demonstrating our shared commitment to living as one and caring for others within God’s world.
