Family Help
As a Church of England school, our work is rooted in Christian values that shape the life of our whole community. These values sit at the heart of our vision “Love, Learn, Live as One”, guiding our ethos, curriculum design, policies and everyday practice. At Bisley, the values of Community, Love, Respect and Trust underpin all we do, helping us to build a school where every child is nurtured, valued and supported to flourish.
As part of the wider Heartwood Federation, we ensure that all children receive universal support, rooted in love and care. However, we recognise that at times some children may need additional help to remain healthy, safe and able to achieve their God-given potential. In such circumstances, we offer Family Help—a supportive, proactive approach that works in partnership with families to address needs at the earliest opportunity. This reflects both our Christian calling to serve one another and our commitment to building a compassionate, supportive community where every child can truly thrive
What is Family Help?
The purpose of Family help is to prevent issues, and problems becoming serious and harmful to the child, young person, family and community. When children and families need this extra support, they need it quickly. Provision of early help support can be at all stages of a child's life; pre-birth, during pregnancy, childhood or adolescence. Family help is about children, young people and families getting the right help at the right time, before issues get worse.
